Our last summer Mandala Design & Coloring Workshops by Sahar El-Nadi
This is a design class, not just drawing & coloring, so you'll be able to create in your own style after learning the basics. This is a great tool for stress-relief and regaining your balance and positive energy.
Only 10 are places available. Reservation is by advance payment.
1 workshop /300LE (4 hours + a copy of “The Book of Joy”, Sahar’s coloring book for adults)
*Designing basic mandala . from 11: 00 -1:00 pm
*Zohr prayers 15 mins (not Jum3a)
*Coloring & doodling your Mandala . from 1:15 -3:15 pm
Let's learn how to draw basic mandala design:
-This class is suitable for everyone, ages 12 and up
-No previous drawing or coloring experience required. Women and seniors encouraged to try, even if it's their first art class ever.
-It's easy and fun.
Drawing geometric designs and coloring for adults is not just entertainment, it's considered a creative tool for therapeutic self-healing and relaxation. The beautiful results are also great for feeling positive and energized. After some practice, you can start drawing greeting cards yourself or decorating your notebooks or even your phone and tablet covers!
This workshop consists of two sessions
- Session 1:
Learning the basic techniques of drawing a mandala, then each of us will have the freedom to create their own unique design in pencil, then finish it in black ink.
- Session 2:
We will learn zendoodle ornaments to decorate our designs and also coloring techniques using color pencils. Anyone can join, whether or not they attended session 1.

Please bring the following to the workshop:
- Plain white Canson paper (or sketch book)
- Sharp, thin pencil you can erase easily (and sharpener if it needs one)
- black ink pen for finishing preferable 0.5 or 07 tip maximum
- You can also bring a ruler with circles/ shapes in it to make drawing easier
-Color pencils and pens (for session 2 only)
